Driving While Intoxicated and Driving with a Provisional License
On 11-9-14, a Byram Twp. Police Officer observed a vehicle speeding on Rt. 206 S. A motor vehicle stop was initiated and while speaking to the driver, Kelsey L. Harpell of Newton, the officer felt that Harpell may be intoxicated. Harpell performed several field sobriety tests, which she failed. Harpell was arrested and transported to the station where she consented to and failed two breath tests. Harpell was charged with the following and released to a friend pending a mandatory Byram Twp. Municipal Court date: Driving While Intoxicated, Underage Driving While Intoxicated, Speeding and Driving with a Provisional Driver’s License.
