Controlled Dangerous Substance, Speeding, Failure to Produce an Insurance Card
BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ – On 11-17-15, a Byram Twp. Police Officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle that was speeding on Lee Hill Road. While speaking to the driver, Bradley J. Carpentier of Byram Twp., the officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle produced a quantity of marijuana and various drug paraphernalia items. Carpentier was arrested and transported to the station. At the station, Carpentier was processed, charged with the following and released pending a mandatory Andover-Joint Municipal Court date: Possession of Under 50g of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Motor Vehicle, Speeding and Failure to Produce an Insurance Card.
