Suspicious Person Complaint Leads to Charges of Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances
On Saturday December 28, 2014 the Franklin Borough Police Department responded to a reported suspicious incident/person complaint in the McDonalds of Franklin.
Officer found Tamarri Valentine, 29, of New York in the McDonalds.
After a brief investigation by Officers, Mr. Valentine was found to be under the influence of narcotics. They further found him in possession of heroin, oxycodone, roxycodone, and alprazolam.
Officers found Mr. Valentine had multiple warrants from jurisdictions in Franklin, Montville, and Paterson.
Mr. Valentine was charged with four counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and use of controlled dangerous substances.
Mr. Valentine was lodged in the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $37,000 bail with no ten percent option.
The complaints that were filed are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The charges may be presented to a grand jury for potential indictment.
