DWI Leads to Motor Vehicle Accident in Byram

On 6-17-14, the Byram Twp. Police Department responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident on Rt. 206. While speaking to the driver who caused the crash, John A. Parisi of South Hackensack, the officer felt that Parisi may be intoxicated. Parisi was asked to perform several field sobriety tests, which he failed. Parisi was arrested and transported to the station where he consented to and failed two breath tests. Parisi was charged with the following and released to a family member pending a mandatory Byram Twp. Municipal Court date: Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Tailgating and Tinted Windows.
