The models will be coiffed and made up courtesy of Salon Serendipity and Mancuso Salon & Spa. And, Forno Italiano will be the venue for the event, featuring complimentary food and a cash bar. Then, there is an after-party at Forno’s Inferno Lounge with free Salsa lessons and dancing.
In addition, guests will take away swag bags filled with goodies from various sponsors. There are prizes as well, that donors will automatically qualify for, including: one $1,000 men’s custom suit, two $100 gift certificates to PB&J Stores, and two gift certificates for Onore Clothing.
“This started with the idea of doing something different for the holidays,” Megletti said, “for those who like entertainment, and to contribute to good causes.”
Megletti lauds the event because the proceeds “stay in our backyard.”
The Friend 2 Friend organization helps to provide free mammograms for those who cannot afford them.
“What I love about it [Friend 2 Friend] is it was founded by local people, is run by local people, and helps local people,” Megletti added.
Evin Muse is a young boy from Sparta, who was diagnosed with bone cancer last year.
“Forno led the cause to do something for Evin,” Megletti told NJ Inside Scene. “He and his family are good Sparta citizens.”
Muse, age 9, is in on-going recovery, the organizers told NJ Inside Scene.
