Shoplifting in Byram Township

BYRAM TOWNSHIP – On 9-24-14, the Byram Twp. Police Department received a call from an employee of ShopRite who stated that they had detained a shoplifter. When the officer arrived, he learned that Jonathan J. Delucchi of Hopatcong had left the store without paying for a quantity of salad that he took from the salad bar. Delucchi was transported to the station where he was processed and charged with Shoplifting. Delucchi was released pending a mandatory Byram Twp. Municipal Court date.
