Smoking marijuana or being under the influence of prescription medications that impair your driving is DWI-Driving while intoxicated. Intoxication is defined as being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. We have DRE Officers who go through extensive training in testing drivers for impairment due to drugs. Those of you who take narcotic prescriptions be aware that you cannot drive while under the influence of them.
