CDS and Allowing Suspended Driver to Drive in Byram
On 7-13-14, a Byram Twp. Police Officer observed a vehicle make an improper left turn out of the Shoprite Plaza onto Rt. 206 S. A motor vehicle stop was initiated and after speaking to the driver, it was discovered that his driver’s license was suspended. The officer then spoke to the passenger and the person who rented the vehicle, Dillon M. Kim of Ann Arbor, MI. After speaking to Kim, a search of the vehicle was conducted and an Adderall prescription pill was found in Kim’s property. Kim could not produce a valild prescription for the drug. Kim was arrested and transported to the station where he was charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Allowing a Suspended Driver to Drive. The driver was charged with making an Improper Left Turn and Driving While Suspended. Both were released pending mandatory court dates.
