Franklin Recreation Commission Carnival Chair Thanks Residents
As the Chairman of the Franklin Recreation Commission, I would like to thank the residents of the community for creating a very successful Franklin Carnival. After about 15 years of not having the Carnival, it was welcomed and appreciated very much from the community. I am overjoyed by all of the compliments and thank you’s that we received during the carnival. A lot of work has been poured into making the come back of the carnival a huge success. I would like to also thank my commission, Jennifer Giordano, Tony Marino, Russ Braunstein, Steve Skellenger and Mike Gunderman for their hard work in ensuring the success. All of it would not be possible if it was not for all aspects of our town working together like a town should. The DPW was instrumental with a lot of behind the scenes preparation in addition to the planning, set up, clean up and ensuring we had supplies to provide a safe and clean environment for the community. The Franklin Police were top notch in the security and planning of the event along with the FOP. The services of these entities of the town are often forgotten about or not thanked enough for what they provide the borough with, so THANK YOU! We look forward to holding our carnival again next year and building it up a little more. Anyone that may be interested in being a vendor or sponsoring a gaming trailer for next year may contact the Franklin Recreation Commission for further info.
