NAME OF ACCUSED: Joseph Bartek out of Denville NJ

OFFICER (S) INVESTIGATING:Ptl. Mancuso

ANY OTHER INFORMATION: A resident hired Joseph Bartek from Craigslist to do sheet rock work in their home.  Bartek showed up and said he needed $160.00 to get materials.  He left and never came back.  Officer Mancuso and the resident tried to contact him but he would not return any phone calls. 

If you hire someone off of Craigslist remember; “Caveat emptor”.  Let the buyer beware.  Get references, call past customers or you too may be a victim.
