Search for Abducted Children from Hopatcong Still Continues
HOPATCONG, NJ – The search still continues for two abducted boys whose father went missing with them on Feb. 5.
Kristopher Dohm, age 36, of Hopatcong, disappeared with his two boys Parker and Jaxon, leaving New Jersey with the boys, which violates the custody agreement.
He is suspected to have been driving a 2009 grey Nissan Pathfinder, plate S17CKV. However, there are now alternate plates that he may potentially be using, with K15DXS on the car’s front and ZKL24F on the rear. All of the mentioned numbers are New Jersey License Plates.
Kristopher Dohm is 5’7” and 150 pounds, white skin tone, with brown hair and eyes. He has a tribal band tattoo on his right arm, along with a tattoo on his left leg. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is reporting that he may be in need of medical care. It is a possibility that he has shaved his head.
Parker Dohm was born on August 1, 2006 and is currently eight years old. His skin tone is white, hair and eyes are brown, he is 4’5” tall and weighs 60 pounds. He also wears glasses. It is possible that his father may have shaved his head.
Jaxon Dohm was born on December 14, 2007 and is currently seven years old. He has a white skin tone, brown hair, blue eyes, is 4’1” tall and weighs 60 lbs. Like his brother Parker, his head may also be shaved.
Their mother has set up a Facebook Page with photos of the boys, created to assist with the search efforts. Those posting to the page are offering prayer and suggestions. One person in particular has suggested that those wishing to help should keep a photo of the father and boys on their phone. “When I am waiting in line,” she wrote, “at a doctor’s office, dance class, basketball practice, etc., I show everyone their pictures and engage in conversation…you never know who may know someone or something.”
Yesterday, their mother posted that it has been over two weeks since she has spoken to them.
“There is nothing more in the world that I want than to be able to hug them tight and tell them that I love them…wherever you are tonight Parker and Jaxon, know that I love you with all of my heart and miss you very much. You are in my every thought,” she wrote.
