Third Annual Skylands’ Got Talent at The Newton Theatre
NEWTON, NJ – The Newton Theatre has scheduled its annual talent show and fundraising event, Skylands’ Got Talent on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3:00 pm. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, February 5th at 10:00 am.
Skylands’ Got Talent is the regions’ premier talent show. An array of acts will perform in front of a live audience and a panel of judges, for a chance to win some awesome prizes. Come out and show your support for these up-and-coming acts. This event will be fun for the whole family!
Based on the artists from the first two Skylands’ Got Talent, there is no shortage of talent in our region. With the variety of acts, there is something for everyone to enjoy. It is a big thrill to watch these promising acts shine in the spotlight!
For those interested in becoming a contestant and showcasing their artistic abilities, they may find more information and instructions on how to audition at www.thenewtontheatre.com. Contestants must live in Sussex, Warren or Pike County (or, if a group, the majority of members). Acts of all types will be considered – music, dance, comedy, magic, and more. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 4th.
Prizes will be provided by Steinwand Sound Studio, Blue Raven Entertainment, Minisink Press, The Bill Wright School of Music and The Newton Theatre, who will give a coveted opening slot to one of the lucky winners.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Autism related organizations.
