Joint Investigation Leads to Arrest for Child Pornography
BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ – On November 19th, 2015, a joint investigation between the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office, Byram Township Police Department and the New Jersey State Police led to a search warrant for child pornography being executed at the residence of Michael L. Olivo. Olivo admitted to having child pornography images and they were located inside the residence. Olivo was charged with Possession of Child Pornography and released pending a mandatory Sussex County Superior Court date. A subsequent investigation led to Olivo being arrested again on November 25th for Distribution of Child Pornography, a second degree crime. Olivo was then remanded to the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility in lieu of $85,000.00 bail with 10% option.
