Suspicious Incident/Person Leads to Charges for Use of Heroin and Possession of Hypodermic Needles
On Saturday December 28, 2014 the Franklin Borough Police Department responded to a reported suspicious incident/person complaint in the Wal-Mart of Franklin.
Officer Zachery Oren found Jeffrey Bash, 42, of Franklin in the Wal-Mart.
After a brief investigation by Officer Oren he found Mr. Bash to be under the influence of heroin. He further found him in possession of multiple hypodermic needles.
Officer Oren also found Mr. Bash had a -no bail- Superior Court Warrant from Sussex County. Mr. Bash was charged with possession of hypodermic needles and use of heroin. He was turned over to the Sussex County Jail and lodged pending the resolution of the Superior Court Warrant.
The complaints that were filed are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The charges may be presented to a grand jury for potential indictment.
