Commemorate St.Patrick’s Day and Recovery
SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with friends and family in recovery from alcohol and other drugs on Thursday, March 17.th This event, a collaboration between The Sussex County Department of Health, The Center for Prevention and Counseling in Newton and the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence of New Jersey (NCADDNJ) will feature great food, fun and other surprises. From 6-9pm in Newton at 65 Newton-Sparta Road, The Manor Plaza Complex (old AAA office), you are invited to enjoy dinner with family and friends in an alcohol and other drug-free environment. The Sussex County Recovery Advocacy group that has been meeting in the county since August, under the mentoring of NCADDNJ, has planned this community event for people in recovery and their friends and families. Please RSVP for more information and/or to enter the evening’s “Crock-Pot Cook-Off Contest” which will feature a prize for the best crock pot dinner.
