Shoplifting at ShopRite in Byram

On 11-18-14, a Byram Twp. Police Officer responded to ShopRite for a report of a shoplifter that ShopRite’s loss prevention officer had in custody. When the officer arrived, he was advised that Robert W. Stank of Byram Twp. was found trying to shoplift two bottles of over-the-counter cough medicine worth $7.28. Stank was arrested and transported to the station where he was processed and charged with the disorderly persons offense of Shoplifting. Stank was released pending a mandatory Byram Twp. Municipal Court date.
