Project Self-Sufficiency Offers Summer Program for Young Children
Children ages 5 – 10 are invited to participate in the Sussex County Family Success Center’s annual Project Vacation program, offered Monday – Friday, August 4th – 8th, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., at Project Self-Sufficiency. This year’s Project Vacation, “STEM City”, will explore the fascinating fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math through fun activities, crafts and special guest presentations. Children will learn about a variety of technical professions, while enjoying hands-on activities, games and more. The program is open to the public but space is limited and pre-registration is required. Camp fee is $10 per child. The program will take place at Project Self-Sufficiency’s Community Education Center, which is located at 127 Mill Street in Newton. Project Vacation is a program of the Sussex County Family Success Center at Project Self-Sufficiency.
