Escape RV to Raffle Grey Wolf Trailer to Benefit Anti Bully Squad and to Donate to Montague Volunteer Fire Department

SANDYSTON, NJ – As part of their Community Appreciation Day on Sat., Sept. 12, the Escape RV will be giving away a trailer to benefit the Anti Bully Squad, as well as a donation to the Montague Volunteer Fire Department.

The Anti Bully Squad is an organization that offers solutions to bullying, including awareness raising activities and education, to prevent it. The squad offers a zero tolerance for bullying, and has advocates from the sports and entertainment worlds that are part of its board and team of squad coordinators.

Joe Barbagallo, owner of Escape RV said that his business promotes the Anti Bully Squad daily. “There are so many charities that get the publicity they deserve to help raise awareness funds. I donated to many through the years. One day I was talking with a friend who brought the Anti Bully Squad to my attention. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. These are children we are talking about getting bullied or embarrassed to the point that they take their own lives. Most of it gets swept under the carpet to avoid publicity. That’s when I decided to get involved through my business, race team and personally.”

Escape RV is one of many businesses throughout New Jersey and New York State, that features special offers on the squad’s discount card page.

“I promise to do my part from this day forward, as a member of the Anti Bully Squad, if I see someone getting bullied, I will step in and speak out,” begins the oath the group promotes. “Bullying needs to stop now. And I’m willing to do my part to make that happen.”

Those who take the oath can contact the organization for a wristband.

Among the squad’s services is a chance to text in bullying incidents anonymously. Students can text to the Nationwide Anti Bully Text line every day at any hour, and remain anonymous. The number is: 877-SQUAD91. Other ways through the Text 2 Report system to anonymously report a bullying incident is also: (877) 778-2391, ext. 700, or tom@antibullysquad.org.

For the raffle, each ticket to win the 2014 Grey Wolf Camper is $50 and can be purchased by clicking here on the Anti Bully Squad website. Each chance is routed through the squad’s PayPal account.

Tickets are available the day of the drawing on Sept. 12 until noon. They can also be purchased at Escape RV that day at their Customer Appreciation Event. The drawing will take place at 1 p.m. The winner does not need to be present at the time of the drawing.

Additionally at the event, the Montague Volunteer Fire Department will be manning the grills, and later, Escape RV will present them with a donation that comes from a portion of all of their sales from the past season.
