Winter Storm Watch in Effect from Saturday Afternoon through Late Saturday Feb. 21
SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Another wintry blast is expected, beginning on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 21 and ending later on in the day, in the form of a Winter Storm Watch.
A Winter Storm Watch is defined as the potential for a large accumulation of snow, sleet and icy precipitation, as well as accumulations of snow and ice. Between four to seven inches of snow is expected, and possibly one-tenth of an inch of ice.
The snow may move in during the middle of the day, beginning with heavy snow, then mixing with sleet and freezing rain before dissipating on Sunday morning.
The storm could create issues with travel Saturday into Sunday.
