Possession of Marijuana Under 50g in Byram

BYRAM, NJ – On 6-15-15, a Byram Twp. Police Officer was conducting a property check of the soccer field parking lot on Stonehedge Ln. and observed a parked vehicle that was occupied by three juveniles. While speaking to the juveniles, a bag of marijuana was observed on the rear seat. Once it was determined who the bag of marijuana belonged to, the juvenile was taken into custody. All three juveniles were transported to the station and later released to their parents. The juvenile who was in possession of under 50g of marijuana was released pending a Sussex County Superior Court, Family Part court date.
