Theft from Ronald McDonald House Donation Bin in Byram

On 1-2-15, the Byram Twp. Police Department received a call about a theft that occurred at McDonald’s. When the officers arrived, they were shown surveillance video of two separate occasions during the evening where Austin C. Davidson of Byram Twp. used a set of keys and also a long spoon to remove money from the Ronald McDonald House donation bins located on the counter in front of the cash registers. Later in the evening, Davidson was located at his residence and arrested. He was charged with two counts of Theft and also Possession of Burglar’s Tools and released to a family member pending a mandatory court date.
