Theft from the Nutrition Store in Franklin

On February 23, 2015 the Franklin Police received a report of a theft from the Nutrition Store in Franklin, New Jersey.

An investigation by the Franklin Borough Police Detective Bureau resulted in the arrest of Vivien D. Martin, 41, of Franklin, New Jersey. Ms. Martin is alleged to have taken supplements, valued at less than $200.00 from the store without first purchasing them on Sunday 2/22/2015 at approximately 12:15PM.

The incident is still under investigation and more charges are possible, as more items are believed to have been taken without having been purchased over the past month.

Ms. Martin was arrested in Franklin on 2/23/2015 at approximately 7:30PM and has been charged with one count of theft. She was released pending a Court appearance in Franklin Municipal Court.

The complaints that were filed are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The charges may be presented to a grand jury for potential indictment.
