Hopatcong Attempted Burglary

HOPATCONG – The Hopatcong Police are looking for anyone that lives on Brooklyn Mtn Road, Columbia Trail, Temple Trail, or any of the side roads off of Brooklyn Mtn road that may have security cameras that capture the roadway.  We are looking for a red Ford F250 or F350 extended cab around the time of 12:30pm.  The victim was sleeping and thought he heard someone knock.  When he went to look no one was there. He then heard a noise at the back door. There was a person trying to get in. The owner confronted a white male who then fled in the truck.  The picture is a stock photo of the type of vehicle we are looking for.
