Theft of Home Heating Oil in Franklin
On November 28, 2014 the Franklin Police received a complaint of a theft of fuel oil from a residence in Franklin Borough.
Franklin Detectives investigated and found that a residence in the Borough had its heating oil syphoned from its tanks attached to the residence.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jason M. Brunnel, 34, of Franklin, New Jersey for theft. Mr. Brunell was arrested on 12/01/2014 at approximately 4:00PM. He is alleged to have syphoned heating oil from a residence in Franklin Borough. He was released pending a Court appearance.
Raymond Ammacher, 34, of Franklin was also charged with theft in the incident. He was charged on 12/01/2014 and released pending a Court appearance.
The oil was said to be valued at several hundred dollars.

Investigation is ongoing and additional arrests may follow.
The complaints that were filed are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The charges may be presented to a grand jury for potential indictment.
