Armed Robbery at Plains Pharmacy in Franklin
On 12/2/14 at approximately 7:20PM the Franklin Police received a report of an armed robbery at the Plains Pharmacy at 66 Route 23 North.
The first male suspect was described as a white male in his mid 20’s, approximately 6 feet tall, between 180-200lbs, clean shaven, with a ‘regular haircut’, wearing solid blue pants and a blue and black flannel shirt.
The second male carrying a gun was described as white, approximately 5’ 9”, approximately 185 lbs, wearing a black winter coat with the hood up, a black mask or scarf over the nose and mouth, and black winter gloves.
The armed male demanded money and left the store after physically taking it.
The Sussex County Prosecutors Office, The Sussex County Sheriff’s Department canine unit, and New Jersey State Police Crime Scene Processing unit is assisting in the investigation.
Efforts are being made to determine if these suspects are the same individuals who committed armed robberies in Wantage Twp. and Kinnelon Borough on 12/1/14.
The Franklin Police are urging all its residents to report any and all suspicious activity.
