NEWTON – A free seminar about careers in the telecommunications industry will be offered to teens and adults on Thursday, September 25th, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency. Representatives from Service Electric Broadband Cable, Thorlabs and Verizon will be on hand for a lively discussion of the constantly evolving field of telecommunications. Speakers will discuss the background, education requirements, and the tasks that accompany their unique professions. Questions from the audience will be welcome.
