Franklin Police Seeking Information About Theft from and Damage to Antique Vehicles
FRANKLIN, NJ – On 1/10/15 a burglary, theft, and extensive criminal mischief was reported to the Franklin Borough Police Department. The victim reported that several windows had been broken in and a secured garage was accessed by unknown individuals at which time they allegedly destroyed glass and damaged several antique vehicles stored on the property.
Approximately 12 original vehicle keys to classic vehicles were removed as well as a motometer for a 1925 Flint vehicle which is extremely rare. The suspects caused extensive damage to several of the vehicles. More stolen property may be forthcoming. As of know the value of the property is in excess of $30,000 and could be more as the investigation continues.
The event is believed to have occurred between Wednesday 01/07/15 and the early morning of 01/10/15.
