Sussex Borough Resident Endorses Jonathan Rose for Freeholder

I have been closely following the upcoming Sussex County Freeholder election, and I thought the voters might find value in my perspective.
As a Sussex Borough resident, I have been fortunate to witness our Mayor Jonathan Rose in action.   Mayor Rose has served the borough for over a
decade now in various capacities, and I think I speak for many when I say it will be difficult to see him leave the Mayoral office.

I think what is most compelling about Mayor Rose is his ability to manage all of the complexities of local government.   I feel that he has been
fiscally responsible.  During his time as Mayor, Sussex has paid down $1 million in water/sewer debt in 3 years and Sussex has the second lowest tax rate in the county, behind Montague.  The Borough will be debt free in 2017 if no additional debt is taken on before then.

For what it is worth, I really trust Mayor Rose and I cannot think of anyone I would rather see take on our County government.  Mayor Rose has my vote for Freeholder, and I encourage everyone else to help bring this intelligent candidate to office.
