Arrest for Narcotics Transactions in Franklin

FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ – On Monday September 29, 2014 the Franklin Borough Police Department Detective Bureau investigated reports of narcotics transactions and activity taking place at a residence on Main Street in the Borough.

Detectives investigated and found Crystal H. Galione, 25, of Franklin allegedly distributing heroin at residences on Main Street.

Ms. Galione was arrested and allegedly found to be in possession of heroin, hypodermic needles, and marijuana. Ms. Galione was charged with possession and distribution of heroin. She was also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needles, and use of a controlled dangerous substance.

She was lodged in the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $20,500 bail with no ten percent option.

The complaints that were filed are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The charges may be presented to a grand jury for potential indictment.
