Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Inhalation of Toxic Chemicals

On 12-10-14, the Byram Twp. Police Department responded to 42 Birch Parkway to conduct a welfare check on a child. When the officers arrived, the found Marion P. Ingala who appeared to be intoxicated. Ingala stated that she was inhaling dust cleaner while she was supposed to be taking care of her 20 month old child. Ingala was arrested and transported to the station for processing. At the station, Ingala was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a child (Third Degree) and Inhalation of Toxic Chemicals (Disorderly Persons). She was given a mandatory Sussex County Superior Court date and released.
