Members attended and brought along their friends for the festivities. The American Red Cross was on site in the rear of the parking lot for those who volunteered to donate blood. Outdoors in the parking lot was a performer on stilts who fashioned balloon art creations for the children in attendance. The kids also enjoyed some creative time with sidewalk chalk near the front entrance. Another fun activity outside was the watermelon eating contest.
