Locals Enjoy CKO Gives Back Party and Blood Drive
FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ – CKO Kickboxing members enjoyed a special event on Saturday, August 9, which was the business’s member appreciation party, along with a blood drive.
“This has been a really wonderful event,” said Darlene Pallay. She and husband, Joe, oversee CKO Kickboxing facilities in both Franklin and Augusta. “We’ve had a great turnout.”
Members attended and brought along their friends for the festivities. The American Red Cross was on site in the rear of the parking lot for those who volunteered to donate blood. Outdoors in the parking lot was a performer on stilts who fashioned balloon art creations for the children in attendance. The kids also enjoyed some creative time with sidewalk chalk near the front entrance. Another fun activity outside was the watermelon eating contest.
Inside, attendees enjoyed music from the DJ and prize giveaways. There were vendors on site, from whom the attendees could learn more about their products and services. Among them were: Thirty-One Consultant Stacy Walsh, Michelle Yannotta Pampered Chef Consultant, Pam Jordan Independent Distributor #1409851 Young Living Essential Oils, Lisa Garofano Plexus Slim Ambassador, Stella & Dot Independent Stylist Stacey Ernst, Isagenix Nutritional Cleansing Coach Valerie Elia, and Chris Songer from Songer Construction LLC.
Anastasia’s Restaurant & Pizzeria of Sparta was also at the event with healthy fare including their homemade hummus served up with vegetables and pita bread, and their bruschetta on top of crostini and garnished with fresh mozzarella, balsamic vinaigrette, and a touch of basil.
