Free Seminar About Journalism Careers
SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – A free seminar about careers in the field of journalism will be offered to teens and adults on Wednesday, November 18th, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency. The New Jersey Herald Executive Editor Bruce Tomlinson will be joined by WMBC-TV On-Camera Anchor and Reporter Melissa Estock along with Jennifer Jean Miller, CEO and Founder of JJ Avenue Productions and New Jersey Inside Scene for a discussion of the background, education and the skills necessary for success in the evolving field of journalism. Questions from the audience will be welcome. “Becoming You: Journalism Careers” will explore vocations in print, online and broadcast journalism. The seminar is free and open to teens and adults, but registration is required. Interested participants are encouraged to call 973-940-3500 to register.
