Arrest for Theft by Deception in Franklin
FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ – On September 8, 2014 the Franklin Police received a report of fraudulent activity from Willow Grove Trucking LLC.
An authorized representative of Willow Grove Trucking reported multiple unauthorized withdrawals from the company’s secured bank account. The complainant reported that the alleged transactions occurred at a financial institution in Franklin New Jersey.
During the course of the investigation, Mr. William Jamieson ,51, of Hamburg was arrested and charged with three counts of theft by deception. Mr. Jamieson is alleged to have made or attempted to make unauthorized withdrawals from a financial institution in Franklin, New Jersey between August 1, 2014 and August 7, 2014 from Willow Grove Trucking’s secured bank accounts.
Mr. Jaimeson was charged and released pending an appearance Sussex County Superior Court.
The complaints that were filed are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The charges may be presented to a grand jury for potential indictment.
