CP Engineers Adds David Clark As Senior Project Manager
New Hire to Strengthen Firm’s Environmental Regulatory Compliance Division
SPARTA, NJ – CP Engineers & Architecture (CPE&A) is pleased to announce that David Clark, P.E., C.M.E. has joined the firm as a senior project manager. Clark will head the firm’s Environmental/Regulatory Compliance Division.

With more than 24 years of experience in Civil Engineering, Site Development and Environmental Services, Clark is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New Jersey, as well as a Certified Municipal Engineer. Before joining CP Engineers & Architecture, Clark held positions as project manager with Suburban Consulting Engineers, The Entech Group and Goodkind & Odea.

Clark’s experience includes: management and design for a broad range of civil engineering projects, environmental site investigation and remediation, and design work for public and private sector clients. Projects include: contaminant investigation and remediation of soil and groundwater for residential, commercial and industrial clients. His civil engineering background consists of design and management for site development, hydraulics and hydrology, water resources, wastewater, structural, dam analysis and reconstruction, utilities and general construction.
In addition to his environmental and engineering analytical and design experience, Clark has extensive knowledge of New Jersey regulatory and permitting requirements. He has also managed the identification, solicitation and award of funding for clients for initiation or continuation of engineering and environmental remediation projects, through a variety of sources.
Clark has worked on a number of significant projects, including a brownfield redevelopment of a 100,000 square-foot industrial building for residential/commercial use, brownfield redevelopment on industrial commercial properties for affordable housing condominiums, design and regulatory permitting for numerous water and natural gas utility installations, an environmental impact statement for the redevelopment of a historic national park, shoreline restoration for a state park on the largest freshwater lake in New Jersey, design and permitting for the replacement of a bridge on a major Morris County roadway, a dam restoration project at a lake community in Sussex County, and design and permitting for an athletic complex at a private high school in Somerset County.
Clark received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. A native of Sussex County, Clark is a graduate of Newton High School and resides in Newton with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he is a volunteer uniformed leader in his son’s Boy Scout Troop.
