Hindering Apprehension and Possession of Hypodermic Syringes
On 2-1-15, the Byram Twp. Police Department received a call about a fight occurring in the Quick Chek parking lot. When patrols arrived, they spoke to Miranda M. Rielley of Hamburg and another individual who stated they were having a verbal argument. Rielley, who appeared to be intoxicated was asked to produce identification and stated she did not have identification on her person. Upon questioning by separate officers, it was determined that Rielley gave the officers the wrong spelling of her name initially and lied about her age. Rielley was arrested and while she was being searched, two hypodermic syringes were found to be on her person. Rielley was then transported to the station where she was charged with the following and lodged in the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $2,000.00 bail with no 10% option on the Byram charges as well as an $861.00 local ordinance warrant out of East Brunswick: Possession of Hypodermic Syringes and Hindering Apprehension.
