Hit and Run Driver – License Plate Left Behind on Scene

CHARGES AGAINST THE ACCUSED: Driving while suspended, careless driving, leaving the scene and failure to report
ANY OTHER INFORMATION: Officer Bianculli responded to Dupont Ave on a report of property damage. When he arrived he found A 15 foot section of large bushes in front of the residence, which were pulled out of the ground and laying on their side. He found tire marks in the road but could not locate the vehicle. 3 days later Officer Bianculli was called by the homeowner who found a license plate in one of the bushes that were torn from the ground. Officer Bianculli looked up the plate and spoke to the owner. He stated that his girlfriend Jennifer White had been driving it the night of the crash. White came to the station. She stated that she was driving on Dupont Ave when a deer ran in front of her. She hit the deer and spun out doing a “180”. She did not think she did any damage to the bushes and left the scene. White was charged and later released.
