Franklin Man Arrested for Selling Stolen Jewelry
Franklin Borough, NJ – On Sunday December 1, 2013 the Franklin Borough Police Department continued an ongoing investigation of a complaint of a male selling stolen jewelry at North Jersey Gold and Silver.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of, Tomasz Przybojewski, 28, of Franklin NJ for selling stolen jewelry valued at over $500.00 at North Jersey Gold and Silver in Franklin on 11/20/2013. Mr. Przybojewski is alleged to have used an identification of a deceased relative to complete the transaction at North Jersey Gold and Silver.
Mr. Przybojewski was charged with theft and impersonation both third degree crimes. Bail was set at $20,000 with no ten percent option. He was also found to have two outstanding warrants from Seaside Heights – NJ in the amount of $500.00 and Union – NJ in the amount of $1,500.00. He was lodged in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
North Jersey Gold and Silver was required to retain the jewelry which they purchased from Mr. Przybojewski for two business days, however failed to. They reportedly purchased the jewelry from Mr. Przybojewski on 11/20/2013 and sent it to a refinery on 11/21/2013. An investigation will continue into North Jersey Gold and Silver and its sale practice.
