Performing Arts Center at SCCC Presents Irish Blessings Music and Dance

NEWTON, NJ – Irish Blessing, the acclaimed York, Pennsylvania-based family band, comes to the Performing Arts Center at Sussex County Community College (SCCC) on Thursday, March 12 at 11 am. Irish Blessing carries on the purest forms of traditional Irish music and dance. They blend driving instrumentals, soaring vocals and hard-hitting percussive step dance into an unapologetically traditional experience. Traveling around the world, Blessing audiences enjoy toe-tapping melodies, powerful dance, and infectious enthusiasm. Rekindle the flame in the hearth with music, song, and dance from the infinitely rich treasury of Ireland’s cultural heritage.

Admission for the community is $10, Student Groups; $5 per student. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking on the Box Office link on the SCCC website at sussex.edu or in person at the Bursar’s Office in the Administration building on the SCCC campus.
