Burglaries to Motor Vehicles
The Newton Police have investigated 17 burglaries to unlocked motor vehicles between 6/1/15 and 7/13/15. As a result, various items were taken including cash, G.P.S. units, sunglasses, gift cards and wallets.
These burglaries have primarily occurred within the High Point Development and the Housing Authority located at 33 Mill Street during the late, overnight hours.
Newton Police are reminding residents to remain vigilant, lock their car doors and report any suspicious persons or activity observed.
