NEW JERSEY – JJ Avenue Productions is a company that started with a dream in June 2012, in the form of a woman-owned sole proprietor LLC, formed as a media and public relations company.
More than two years later, the company assists businesses to get the word out about their products, services and happenings through the public relations end, JJ Avenue Productions, has had items of Marilyn Monroe’s that belong to the company’s founder Jennifer Jean Miller featured in an exhibit in New York, has published the book, Marilyn Monroe & Joe DiMaggio – Love In Japan, Korea & Beyond under its name, and has started the news publication NJInsideScene.com. Her other two ventures are the site, InsideScene.LA, and the online store, Blondels.com.
NJInsideScene.com is a news vehicle celebrating its first anniversary this month, and now has approximately 7,200 fans a month visiting the site, a number that continues to grow, and more than 700 Facebook Fans. NJInsideScene.com reports local news in an online format and offers a generous and affordable advertising program, with packages beginning at $300 for the year.
Since it has been in business, NJInsideScene.com was twice nominated for a New Business Award with the Sussex County Economic Development Partnership, including one month after its launch.

She has also been enlisted with Reuters News Service for the second year to work on a special project during election season.
“As the founder of JJ Avenue Productions, I have always held an entrepreneurial and self-starting spirit, and had been involved previously in other ventures. I started my own venture to solely offer my creative services to others, in ways that I could not when working with other entities,” Miller said. “I now have the freedom to make business and creative decisions the way I see fit. On a personal level, as a divorced parent, owning my own business offers me additional flexibility.”
Miller has recently applied to the Mission Main St. Grant Program for JJ Avenue Productions through Chase, offering $150,000 grants for eligible businesses. As part of the process, her company needs 250 votes to head towards the next round.
