Two Sussex County Tickets Sold From the Same Store Split the $80,062 Jersey Cash 5 Jackpot
TRENTON, N.J. – Two Sussex County tickets purchased at the same store split the Jersey Cash 5 $80,062 jackpot for the Wednesday, October 1 drawing making each ticket worth $40,031. The Sussex County tickets were purchased at Quick Chek #17, 40 Lakeside Blvd., Hopatcong.
Executive Director Hedinger said the winning tickets were the only two sold for Wednesday’s drawingthat matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 01, 06, 12, 23 and 26.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Quick Chek,” said Hedinger. “For sellingthese tickets, this retailer will receive two bonus checks for $2,000 each. Overnight, it has becomeanother ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
Hedinger also noted that 2,603 other players won $57,036 in cash prizes in theWednesday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 100 players won cash prizes of $270 each,and for correctly matching three numbers, 2,503players won $12.00 each.
